Solar Energy gives power to Dewri Gowda Village in Rajasthan

Filed under: India, News — India website @ 12:40 pm

Conergy with Masonic Trust together has given power to a Dewri Gowda, remote village in Rajasthan using Solar Power. This project has been supported by Ministry of New and Renewable Energy and funds were generated last November through a golf tournament played in charity. Conergy through its SunTechnics, its subsidiary, has installed for environmentally and friendly solar power many hundred renewable energy systems. Now almost 500 families, one school in Alwar District and two temples are given solar power of 944 watts. There are many more such remote villages in our country that lack power. Similar steps can be taken to give them electricity to improve their standard of living.
